Job Description
Role Purpose-
To provide technical input to customers, suppliers and plant to meet Project and Department targets of Product localization, communicate and ensure the requirements in the area of Passenger car electrical parts like wiring harness, switches, Power electric parts etc.

Responsibility-
To deal in the area of passenger car electrical parts like wiring harness, switches, Power electric parts etc.

Should know the applicable standards, requirements.

Raw material / Component / parts / Assembly - localization ( the part design and development would have happened elsewhere already )

> Resolve technical Issues

> Support with back up part numbers

> working knowledge of Catia V5 R 14 – open the drawings, models, take cut sections, do measurements etc.

> Be a communication link between R & D and various agencies of India like Purchase, SRM, Program Management, Logistics, Production , Suppliers

> Engineering Change Management : maintain a status, assist in resolution, follow up for the implementation

> Engineering Release : ensure right part availability for engineering testing, assess and report the part / assembly validation status regularly. Project reporting to upper hierarchies

• Documentation of work progress ,

• maintain the assignment index to ensure quality and timely completion of the assignments

• Lessons learnt documentation

• Planning and ensuring of required infrastructure

• Ensure quality and cost consciousness within the team
Desired Candidate Profile
DIPLOMA, BE, ME, M.Tech, M.S in electrical / electronics engineering
